"Sol de Inverno" - Episode 58 Screencaps & Recap

Eduardo calls Andreia and tells her that he's about to return to Portugal without telling her the reason to he went to Mexico. She asks him to bring her a gift, which annoys him.  Equally annoyed, Andreia hangs up on her husband.

At his hotel in Mexico, Eduardo meets with Garcia, the man who is brokering the purchase of the kidney for Teresa. Garcia and Eduardo then leave the hotel.

(In the operating room, the medial staff prepare Teresa and Eduardo for the transplant. Before they place the anesthesia mask on Eduardo, Teresa asks them to wait and says to her brother):
Teresa: Whatever happens, thanks.

(Eduardo awakens from anesthesia after the surgery and his family is at his side to support him, but as usual, the mood is distant, almost "forced"... But Eduardo still tries to please his mother and be funny....)

Laura praises the police inspector for their work which led to the recovery of their prized horse Guerreiro (Warrior), surprised by their swift and effective action.  Eduardo is already considering the opportunity to sell the horse again, but Teresa thinks it's better to wait for Margarida, since she rides/loves the horse.

At the hospital, after hearing the news that they are having trouble stabilizing Teresa, a desperate Laura asks the doctor if they can do the transplant now, since Eduardo's in good health and a match.  Eduardo appears troubled by her suggestion, but the doctor assures them that Teresa is not strong enough right now for surgery.  Later when they have moved to Teresa’s room to see her, Laura asks the doctor when they will be able to do the transplant. The doctor says they should be able to proceed with the surgery within a week. Eduardo tries to hide his nervousness, and says that they can schedule the date.

"Sol de Inverno" - Episode 24 Screencaps & Recap

Eduardo thanks Teresa for having accepted his invitation to have lunch together.  He says he did not say anything because he was scared and wanted first to learn more about the full process of donating a kidney.  If we are born with two kidneys, it is because they are needed, right? And what if he also gets sick later, who is going to give him a kidney if only she is compatible?  Or what if eventually he has a child and that child one day also needs a kidney? Teresa interrupts him, saying she understands and accepts all his reasons, all his doubts, but she doesn't understand why once he knew he was a match he didn't say anything, didn't even talk to her.  Eduardo is very embarrassed, and says it was indeed cowardly of him. But now he'll solve everything. They are family, so it's time to act like it.  He will give her his kidney.  He asks her to forgive him, tells her that everything will be fine, and asks her for a hug.

"Sol de Inverno" - Episode 18 Screencaps & Recap

Eduardo and Laura are very unnerved after Andreia tell them the police would not drop her complaint against her husband for domestic violence. Eduardo says she only has to tell the judge that she fell when she was alone and hurt herself. Andreia is troubled, saying that does not feel right about lying in court.

Andreia wakes Eduardo up by screaming that she has great news to tell him.  Her husband protests, but is curious.  Andreia says her agent has gotten her a modeling offer to become the face of a well-known perfume.  Eduardo says he forbids her to return to work so as not to risk the pregnancy.  Andreia gets angry and says she was just letting him know.  Eduardo gives back the aggressive tone, saying she is over thirty years old and her modeling career is over.  She is upset but does not give into him his attempt to start an argument.  Eduardo goes into the bathroom and Andreia asks him where he's been out to so late. He is forced to lie, saying he was out listening to and trying to console a friend who is getting divorced.

Laura tells Eduardo that Filipe Antunes has hired Sofia at his competing shoe company, and she also informs her son that she expects him to do what he needs to do to make sure that Filipe withdraws his job offer to Sofia.

Not much of "Eduardo" in this episode, but, remember you can see more of Diogo this Sunday night, in the season premiere of ABC's "Revenge" at 9/8pm.

Salvador, Eduardo and Teresa meet with Laura to prepare for the presentation of the new collection of shoes.  Salvador commends the work of his sister in promoting the product, but Eduardo remains more skeptical, preferring to wait to see how the sales go.  Eduardo is furthered aggravated when Laura agrees with Salvador's suggestion that the company should cut back on their use of animal skins in their shoe line as a way of making Boheme a leader in environment and animal protection within their industry.

Eduardo tells Benedita to go to his office immediately.

He asks his secretary to compose an e-mail, but he whispers in her ear that he wants her right now.

Salvador interrupts their game of seduction, and Eduardo tells him he already knows that he took Matilde to their family home and their mother is not happy.

Salvador regrets this and goes away without saying anything more.

Eduardo turns again to Benedita, and comments that his mother should not maintain her confidence in Salvador for much longer.

Then he urges the secretary to go up to his office, because he want to dictate something.

Teresa, surrounded by her brothers and mother, confesses that she doesn’t believe in the seriousness of her condition. Salvador believes she’ll overcome everything and Simão enters right then. After embracing his sister, he announces he is going to live with Nuno.

Laura turns off the television and wonders why they are giving so much airtime to Sofia.

Eduardo also hears the story and asks his mother which evidence against her could Sofia have, but his mother is convinced that if her old partner and friend had something against her, she would not have spent five years in exile.

Laura tells her son that it is not worth suing Sofia for defamation, preferring instead that the company's media relations department work with them to enhance the images of Boheme and their management team.

Later Eduardo and Andreia argue because she insists on going to the gym despite being pregnant, and he fears she will again lose another baby.

Laura imposes her will and forces her daughter-in-law to stay quiet until delivery, although she argues that she is a professional model and does not want to give up her career.
