Laura turns off the television and wonders why they are giving so much airtime to Sofia.
Eduardo also hears the story and asks his mother which evidence against her could Sofia have, but his mother is convinced that if her old partner and friend had something against her, she would not have spent five years in exile.
Laura tells her son that it is not worth suing Sofia for defamation, preferring instead that the company's media relations department work with them to enhance the images of Boheme and their management team.
Later Eduardo and Andreia argue because she insists on going to the gym despite being pregnant, and he fears she will again lose another baby.
Laura imposes her will and forces her daughter-in-law to stay quiet until delivery, although she argues that she is a professional model and does not want to give up her career.

Eduardo is quite harsh with his wife and, as before getting up from the table, he reminds her she is already thirty years old and is already washed up as a model. His sister Teresa tries to chastise Eduardo for saying such things but to no avail.
Eduardo sees Andreia reading a women's magazine and mocks her, saying that their child will be a genius, because with so much beauty and fashion tips it will turn out to be gay like Simão. Andreia answer that the child will be certainly more intelligent than his father.
Laura finds it strange that Teresa and Margarida still have not returned.
Eduardo prepares to call them but at that exact moment his mother gets a call from her youngest daughter and reacts with a worried expression.
Already with Laura and Eduardo beside her in her hospital room, Teresa hears the doctor confirm that she has chronic renal failure and will have to do dialysis for he rest of her life. Teresa is in shock, because the doctor states that she will die if they do not start treatment immediately. Laura comforts her daughter, saying that they are all there to support her.
