Eduardo asks her to think about it, and Laura demands that she solve it quickly, before the magazines realize they have a new story to publish.  Eduardo tells his mother and wife he is going to go get some air, but in reality, he goes to call Benedita.  Benedita is prompted by her sister Isabel to answer her boss' call, but Benedita decides not answer the call, leaving her sister intrigued.

Later, Teresa is very apprehensive because Margarida, Simao and Salvador are not compatible with her to donate one of their kidneys. Laura still holds out hope that Eduardo will be a match, but Teresa assumes that her situation is only getting worse.  Eduardo is driving to Boheme when he receives a call in his car from the hospital to inform him that he is indeed compatible with his sister.  Eduardo is in shock, disbelief and confusion at the news.

When he enters the office, Eduardo goes to Benedita, but he is greeted by her coldly, as she simply states that Laura is waiting in her office for him. Sensing Benedita's distance, he leaves to go talk to his mother.  Both his mother and his sister Teresa are eager to know if he has received the test results to say if he is a match to donate a kidney to her. Insensitive to Teresa’s plight, Eduardo lies and says he is not compatible. Teresa drops her head in complete desperation.

I have to say... "Eduardo" may not be a likable character, but I am loving the depth, range and true talent Diogo is showing in his portrayal of him.

  1. I have to agree with you. I'm truly hating Eduardo. I don't see a redeeming quality in him yet.
But, Diogo is a fine actor and can bring Eduardo to life in all his psychotic glory.
