Making of Diogo Morgado: GQ Portugal (UPDATED with new photo)

UPDATED ON 7/22/13:

A new photo from Diogo's photo shoot for his June "GQ Portgual" cover issue his recent "GQ Man of the Year" award has been released on the internet.  Taken by Dan Carabas, who photographed the entire shoot, this picture continues the theme of the photo shoot -- which is "before and after the party" -- but this photo was ultimately not used in the article. Website "GoSee" found and shared the unpublished photo:

Diogo's "GQ Man of the Year" Award Acceptance Speech

GQ Portugal has posted video of their "GQ Men of the Year" Awards Gala which were held back in May, and during which Diogo was named Portugal's very first "GQ Man of The Year."  Liliana kindly translated Diogo's wonderful acceptance speech for us, which can be found below the link to the video.

After recently being named Portugal's first GQ Man of the Year, Diogo graces the cover of "GQ Portugal" for their June 2013 issue.

Diogo is also featured in the magazine. Liliana kindly translated the article for us, which can be found below the scans.

"Way back Wednesday" -- Diogo in Louis Vuitton from 2009

Well, today's not really a "clip" of the day, more like "photos of the day," but I figured that would be okay with you guys.  :)

So let's make today "Way back Wednesday," and go all the "way back" to 2009, hee.....

When Diogo was featured in GQ Portugal magazine for an editorial shoot wearing Louis Vuitton, that took place in the south of France, in Nice.  

I know Diogo has said he modeled briefly when he was younger, and I think that is evident in these pictures.  For me, they are so "different" from any images that I personally have ever seen of him, I had to share.  Thanks for stopping by!
