Laura, desperate over the Teresa's illness, asks Eduardo to help her find a kidney for his sister on the organ trafficking black market . The son makes reference to the illegality of the situation but, hypocritically, says that Teresa gets everything from him. Later, Teresa tries to convince Andrea to come down for dinner. She is reluctant but eventually agrees to go down after Eduardo presses her. When she starts to go, she hears her husband phone ringing again and again, so she ends up answering it. Andreia is astonished when she hears the hospital on the other line asking about Eduardo going in for further medical tests since he is a match for Teresa. At dinner, Eduardo commits the fatal mistake of provoking Andreia, and she wastes no time in taking revenge, telling everyone that her husband is the only family member who is able to donate a kidney to Teresa, saying that he received a call from the hospital to confirm this. Teresa is shocked yet still mumbles that her brother would never be forced to help her while Eduardo tries to deny what he did. Laura, who has said nothing until this point, tells Eduardo to get out of her sight and leave the house. But Eduardo tries to justify the fact that he concealed that is compatible with Teresa to donate his kidney. Margarida accuses her brother of unthinkable behavior while Teresa and Dulce are incredulous. Laura again chastises her son and once again orders him to leave. Andreia is crestfallen because it was she who revealed her husband's secret. Giving up, Eduardo gets up from the table to go. Teresa watches him, hurt by his attitude.
From his car, Eduardo calls Benedita, and he becomes impatient when she isn't answering. Meanwhile at her place, Benedita is beside her sister Isabel as she lets the phone ring repeatedly with Eduardo's call. Isabel is angry and tells her to silence the phone and ignore it. But Eduardo is persistent and when Benedita finally answers, he tells her in a strict tone to get ready, because they are going out to dinner. She tells him to invite his wife instead, but Eduardo says that he is not asking Benedita if she wants go, he is telling her she is going. Benedita hangs up, determined not to give in to her lover. Isabel, who had gone to the other room comes back and asks Benedita who she was talking to, because she is very suspicious she is secretly seeing someone. Benedita tells her sister to stay out of her life, and focus on getting herself a man instead of meddling in the lives of others. Isabel is very angry at Benedita's words.
Meanwhile, Laura is still reeling from learning that Eduardo hid he was compatible with Teresa. Despite being disillusioned with her brother, Teresa says again that he is not obligated to give her a kidney. Laura assures her that she does not want to see Eduardo any time soon, and that she can hardly forgive what he did.
Taking advantage of Isabel being gone, Eduardo goes to Benedita's house and tries to seduce her, offering her earrings. Benedicta says earrings are not enough and that the only thing that will be enough is for him to leave his wife if he wants to be with her. She is tired of being the 2nd choice. Eduardo seductively tells her that it can be the way she wants, that he has a suitcase waiting in his car outside... Benedita can no longer resist, and the two begin to undress, and as he kisses her passionately, they fall on o the sofa... Later, Isabel comes home to find clothes spread on the floor....
Oh, as long as Eduardo gives the home wrecking secretary some jewelry, he can horn dog around. Pathetic.
