Teresa and Laura are in shock because Eduardo has just told them that he is not compatible with her sister and therefore can not give her one of his kidneys. Feeding his lie even further, Eduardo pushes Teresa to accept their mother's idea to resorting to get her name moved up quickly on the transplant list, but the sister says that does not want to move ahead of other patients. Laura says that if necessary, they will move abroad for surgery out the country, and tries to cheer her daughter by suggesting they go check on the new collection of shoes. But Teresa is too depressed and just wants to go home. Eduardo take a deep breath when they leave, but he is visibly nervous.
Later, Eduardo tries to seduce Benedita and take her to his office but she remains distant and continues to reject him. Eduardo mutters angrily that maybe be needs a new secretary.
Laura looks at some files and comments to Eduardo about the high costs that the company has to bear after being forced to withdraw the new collection of shoes from the market. She plans to launch a campaign to improve the image of Boheme and regrets that Teresa can not handle it. She then receives a call from that there are an investors interested in the family's Lusitanian horses (Portuguese horses). Immediately she heads out to prepare the animals for show, and tells Eduardo that they could get four hundred thousand euros from the sale of three of the animals. Eduardo asks about Salvador, and his mother tells him that she knows nothing, other than he is still angry. However, Laura is confident that Salvador will return home and to the company. Eduardo is bothered but his mother doesn’t notice.
