Yesterday "Sol de Inverno" was featured on SIC's "E-Especial." Specifically, they talked to Diogo's co-stars, Cláudia Vieira and Dânia Neto. They play "Eduardo's" (Diogo's character in "Sol de Inverno") wife and mistress, respectively in the series. Though Diogo is not interviewed in the segment, they did show some new footage of "Eduardo" in the clip, so I wanted to share it. Awesome fan Dina was kind enough to send us the video and a translation of it, which you can find below the video, along with some screencaps.

DÂNIA NETO/"Benedita": I'll be playing Benedita. Benedita has a half-sister played by Ana Nave ("Isabel.") They share the same house. They have the same father, but don’t get along well.
(Clip) "BENEDITA": You went snooping around the ATM slips in my wallet?

DÂNIA: They are forced to endure each other because neither wants to lose her part of the inheritance.
(Clip) "ISABEL"/sister: Our father was not a spender, and I'm not either. BENEDITA: This is your way of insulting my mother?
DÂNIA: In this story "Benedita" is a character who works at Boheme, which is the footwear company, that is part factory and part offices. Benedita is an administrative secretary, a good professional.
CLÁUDIA VIEIRA/"Andreia": "Andreia" once had the focus aimed at her and then lost it, and she feels bad about it.
HOST: It is your story .... (laughing).
CLÁUDIA: It's my story ... (laughing).
(Clip) "ANDREIA": I could have never been an international model, yet around here (Portugal), I did many jobs. Now not even that (shrug).
CLÁUDIA: "Andreia" is a woman who once had a lot of attention, had a lot of work. When she started, the focus was directed toward her, the spotlight directed on her.
(Clip) "ANDREIA": Not these shoes, no. I've seen some great shoes, I want beautiful ones.
CLÁUDIA: This stops happening, and she deals very poorly with the fact of losing that much attention.
(Clip) "LAURA"/mother-in-law: You walk down with these shoes, or you just do not walk down. Not when you are the wife of my son who will be treated differently from other models.
CLÁUDIA: At her wedding things also will not go very well. She reacts badly to this also.
(Clip) "EDUARDO"/husband/Diogo: You're pregnant, you're not drinking alcohol. ANDREIA: Yes, because I’ll be a mother, I cannot enjoy. EDUARDO: Do not tease me, Andreia, do not tease me.
(Clip) "BENEDITA" (to Eduardo): Why don’t you stay with me? Just the two of us.
DÂNIA: "Benedita" falls in love with the wrong man. Has an affair with a married man, played by Diogo Morgado. She loves him madly, and firmly believes that one day he will leave his wife to be with her. She does not like to share. I think she (Benedita) will want him (Eduardo) for herself, but ... I do not know.
DÂNIA: Do not miss it on SIC!
CLÁUDIA: Promise!

"Sol de Inverno" premieres on SIC on Monday, September 16th, and starting the day after, you will hopefully be able to see the episodes online on SIC's website for the show, as they have done for their past series.
