Diogo Morgado graces the cover of the latest issue of Correio da Manhã's "Sexta TV & Lazer" magazine, which inside features an article on Diogo's upcoming Portuguese series, "Ouro Verde" that he is currently filming. Diogo Morgado on "Fama Show" at the "Excuse" Screening

"Fama Show" caught up with Diogo Morgado at the recent screening of his latest short film, "Excuse" at The Famous Fest in Lisbon. Our awesome friend Dina sent us the short but sweet clip, along with the translation posted below.

Diogo Morgado: I accepted the invitation of Rui Pedro Tendinha [one of the directors of The Famous Fest, who was up on the stage with Diogo.]

We were in Los Angeles and I had just made a short film with Daniela Ruah.....  Suddenly I'm here.  For me, it's like a very strange thing, because I've never had an audience watching something I have directed.

Diogo Morgado on "Sei Quem Ele É"

Diogo was on a new Portuguese show called "Sei Quem Ele É" that recently premiered on RTP1.  The show is hosted by esteemed Portuguese Casting Director, Patricia Vasconcelos, whom Diogo has called "crucial" to his career.  Diogo was Patricia's first guest on her show, which focuses on the guest's experiences as an actor, from auditions to filming. As you will see, it also includes some amazing footage from Diogo's earliest auditions!  Our equally amazing friend Dina kindly sent us the interview, and she even more kindly sent us the translation as well, posted under the video.  Thank you Dina, as always!

Diogo Morgado to screen "Excuse" at Lisbon's The Famous Fest!

Incredible news for all you lucky people in Portugal!  It was just announced that "Excuse" will be shown at the upcoming The Famous Fest in Lisbon, AND as if that's not exciting enough, Diogo will be in attendence to present the short film!  Here's The Famous Fest's official press release about the screening:

Cool news!  Diogo and his "O Matador" co-star Will Roberts have started a new podcast, called FRAMETALK!  Brought to us by Will's ActingUpRadio.com, the site describes FRAMETALK as: "Hosts Will Roberts (California) and Diogo Morgado (Portugal) talk each week, as friends about film, TV, Web series, and any other form of media. The approach of the show is not critics of media rather the love of it."

Diogo's next project announced - "O Matador"

The secret is out!!!  After several mysterious posts on social media made by Diogo over the past few days, the name and details of his next project have been announced, and it's a GREAT one! 

Specifically, Diogo will be starring in the Brazilian film, "O Matador," as announced today by Netflix, who is making the feature film:

Diogo's Interview in "Diário de Notícias" about "Excuse"

Rui Pedro Tendinha, the film critic for Portugal's Diário de Notícias (DN), recently interviewed Diogo after seeing (and clearly enjoying) his latest short film, "Excuse," which Diogo wrote and directed, and stars Daniela Ruah ("NCIS: LA") and Alberto Frezza ("Born to Race: Fast Track.")  Diogo discusses the film, as well as his true passion: storytelling.  The original Portuguese article is posted below, followed by the English translation, courtesy of the ever amazing, Dina.  Obrigada Dina!
