Today's "Clip of the Day" is a scene from the 2007 SIC TV show "Vingança" ("Revenge") where Diogo played "Santiago," and it is another perfect example of Diogo's amazing ability to convey so much, to make the audience feel what his character does, without uttering a single word.

I know what you mean.... it's his eyes.... they say so much..... thank you for this clip.
ReplyDeleteHis acting really moves me. Just his facial expressions say it all. When it showed him falling my heart broke into 1,000,000 little pieces! He is amazing. I love Vinganca as well.
ReplyDeleteI like this scene a lot. Pretty intense one.
ReplyDeleteIf you need a synopsis of this series I can write one. I saw some episodes last year and it's pretty similar to the story of The Count of Monte Cristo by French author Alexandre Dumas (on which was based). Actually, my favorite novel by Dumas.

ReplyDeletewatching Vinganca, I'm halfway.Diogo's performance is magnificent.Everytime he cries in the scene/situation ,He just breaks my heart!Diogo made me cry in one of the episodes with Laura(Lucia Moniz. They make it so real.Diogo is really putting his heart out in every scene. That's why I can't get enough our favorite Portuguese actor.:)
ReplyDeleteWow. That was amazing. What a face... so beautiful and so full of emotion. I've said all along, while watching so many clips of what he's done in the past, that it didn't matter that I couldn't understand the words. Just watching his face tells you everything you need to know... truly talented. Thanks so much for sharing this one - hadn't seen it before.
