And so today's "Clip(s) of the Day" actually comes from one such incredible fan who is originally from Portugal, Lou da Gama. Lou sent me a link to a "behind the scenes" video of the making of "A Armadilha" that has ENGLISH subtitles. :)
(FYI, that "behind the scenes" clip comes courtesy of Yuri Alves on YouTube. Yuri, incidentally, is the director of "A Armadilha.")
Lou da Gama also sent me a link to the entire episode of "Tempo Final - A Armadilha." The episode, unfortunately, does not have subtitles, and you may have to watch it on YouTube instead of here on the site. But make sure to see below the clip for Lou's EXCELLENT synopsis of the episode. Oh and see if you recognize Diogo's male co-star. :)
In the building’s garage, Pedro realizes that his car is not working, and though, there is nobody left in the building apart from him, Rodrigo, the secretary and the security guard, a seductive woman strangely parks her car besides him. Pedro and the woman engage in a game of seduction while Rodrigo tries to seduce his secretary.
But, both men end up realizing that nothing is what it seems, and they are victims of a trap set up by the two women, which ends in a deadly game. The secretary is able to get the 4 digits from Rodrigo and notes them on a piece of paper. However, Pedro is very defiant, even with a gun pointed at his head. He suspects Rodrigo is involved in the scam and he will not disclose his 4 digits. He tells the woman in the car that he will only reveal the digits after looking at Rodrigo’s face to be sure Rodrigo is not involved.
Back in the office, Pedro continues to refuse to tell the 4 digits, even when the women tell him that if he doesn't they will kill Rodrigo.
In the end, Pedro, not only manages to get everybody involved killed but also Rodrigo’s 4 digits (which he finds on the piece of paper in the secretary's hand), and thus… all the money just for himself."

A HUGE thank you to Lou da Gama for sending me these links and for writing such a great synopsis for us. So appreciated.
And I also just want to say a big thank you to all of Diogo's Portuguese fans who have been so supportive of the blog, and have been SO kind to me and all of Diogo's "new" fans. You all have been amazingly helpful and embracing, and I sincerely just think you are all incredible. Obrigada.

Lou da Gama's synopsis of "A Armadilha":
"Pedro (Diogo) and Rodrigo, two successful entrepreneurs and friends, who have just become millionaires through a corrupt business deal, keep their millions in a safe box in Rodrigo’s office. Though they are supposedly friends, the two men decide to memorize each only half of the 8 digits code of the safe box. That way, one will not be able to steal from the other. Before leaving, Pedro, an audacious and flirty man, convinces his shy friend, Rodrigo, to seduce his secretary, even though Rodrigo is married.
