GQ Men of the Year Awards: The Video

(Diogo, Dsquared (Brand Fashion Icon), and Jonathan and Kevin Sampaio courtesy of Mulher Sapo)

Vogue Portugal posted the video below of the "GQ Men of the Year 2013 Awards," where Diogo was named Portugal's first GQ Man of the Year.

In the video Diogo says, "I feel profoundly proud, and more, I think that events like this by GQ show that Portugal is a little more than what Portugal thinks of itself."

  1. You know Diogo has great style, and wear his clothes well, but his best accessory is his Portuguese pride and love. Thanks Sara for sharing and Lou for translating.

  4. A well deserved award! He's more than man of the year in my book. He is man of his generation. Thanks for sharing this with us Sara. Keep up the good work. Thanks Lou for translating and welcome back Liliana.

  5. This man is so dang gorgeous. I really need to not come on this site anymore because I could literally watch him forever lol. Is he married or not? It's not important but I'm just surprised that nobody knows! So weird.

  6. Actually Diogo knows the answer, and shared an answer on the Q&A he did here on the blog when asked that very question. His answer: "I´m happy :)" Which, as fans of Diogo's TALENT, WORK, and HUMBLE personality, should be more than enough answer for us. To feel as fans we are entitled to know more, or "expect" to be told the answer we want to hear, to me, THAT is what's weird, in my honest opinion. I know here in the US, sadly due to sites like TMZ, we "think" we have a "right" to know, but the truth is, as fans of an actor, we are not really entitled to anything. Diogo is VERY giving to his fans, but the truth is, the ONLY thing he OWES us is to give us the best performance as an actor that he can in his projects. And what we owe him as fans, especially here on my blog, is respect. If someone needs to know about someone's personal life in order to better appreciate or enjoy their PROFESSIONAL work, I am not sure that is the true definition of being a fan.
