Diogo Morgado -- Superhero?
Not really... but he was photographed playing a "superhero" in Portugal recently for The Man Issue by Mario Galiano.
Here's some behind the scenes footage from Diogo's photo shoot:
The Man Issue - Diogo Morgado from Mário Galiano on Vimeo.
And here's a description of "The Man Issue" from its website, as translated by Google:
"After the success of 'Glamour by Mario Galiano' in which 47 Portuguese women were portrayed in the glamour of the 40's and 50's, photographer of personalities, Mario Galiano, now starts the project "The Man Issue" dedicated to the Portuguese men.
In this project, Mario Galiano intended to capture images of 20 Portuguese male public figures, from various areas such as theatre, music, sports and fashion.
The project's concept is based on the idea of capturing unpublished photographs, cinematic in nature, but man-centered -- their personality, in their expressions and in his presence.
The objective of Mario Galiano is to gather the images in a book and an exhibition to be held in 2013."
PS I am SO sorry for all the Twitter problems today with @diogofanfriends. I had been posting the blog links via Blogger's Twitter Share Button and apparently Twitter doesn't like that. It views the links as 3rd party spam and automatically suspends the account. I am hopeful to have this resolved with Twitter soon and have the account up and running again ASAP. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
